LMF “Featured Artist” Hiro Matsuo, has won a job in the cello section of the renowned Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.  The term “won” is commonly used in the music world because any time a position opens up, an international competition is held to fill it.  The several hundred musicians are made to perform in several rounds, each one requiring different repertoire, all the while knowing that the orchestra isn’t under legal obligation to offer the seat to anyone.  Hiro becoming one of the newest members of this orchestra is an astounding achievement, and LMF is extremely proud and excited for him.
